RMA

All sales are final and no returns will be accepted without prior written authorization. Returns accepted for any reason other than defect or shipping error are subject to 15% restocking fee. Additional charges may be assessed for missing or damaged parts. If there are any discrepancies with your order, you must provide us with notice in writing, or by phone or fax within seven (7) days of receipt of merchandise. All returned goods must be accompanied by a pre-issued Return Authorization (RA) clearly marked on the outside of the shipping carton. To obtain an RA, contact our customer service department, and have the item number and original invoice available. RA’s are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Returns shipped C.O.D. or freight collect will not be accepted. Contact our Customer Service Department at (818)767-8493 or by FAX at (818)767-3073. Any credits taken without a Scytek credit memo will not be accepted. items returned for credit must be complete system and current product still being manufactured by ScyTek Electronics Inc. All accessories such as transmitters, impact sensors, antennas, etc. will be for exchange only. All credits will be issued after returns have been processed.

 

Limited Warranty

ScyTek vehicle security system is warranted to the original purchaser, to be free from defects in material and workmanship. ScyTek will repair or replace at its option with a new or factory refurbished equivalent , and free of charge for the first twelve (12) months, any part that proves defective in material or workmanship under normal installation, use, and service, provided the product is returned to ScyTek freight prepaid. After the first 12 month warranty period there will be a maximum service charge of $50.00 per calendar year for repair and/or replacement of any defective parts. A copy of the original purchase and installation receipt must accompany any products returned for warranty service. Warranty is limited to defective parts and/or replacement parts only and excludes any incidental, and consequential damages connected therewith. The manufacturer of this theft deterrent system makes no warranty against the theft of the vehicle or its contents. This warranty is not to be construed as an insurance policy against loss. ScyTek will return the product back to you at your expense if it is not covered by the terms of the warranty

WARRANTY OF INSTALLATION LABOR, REMOVAL AND RE-INSTALLATION CHARGES ARE NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MANUFACTURER. Note: This Warranty is voided if the product was not installed by an Authorized ScyTek Dealer.
